Ways We Can Work Together

People come to therapy for many different reasons. Some people want ongoing depth work and a consistent therapeutic relationship. Others want focused support around a specific issue or life transition. Some prefer a shorter series of sessions to gain clarity and direction.

Below are the different ways we can work together.

  • People often come to therapy for:

    • relationship difficulties
    • life transitions or loss
    • burnout or emotional overwhelm
    • parenting and family stress
    • identity changes
    • trauma or complex trauma
    • neurodivergent experiences
    • making sense of the world and their place in it

  • Therapy is collaborative and tailored to the person and situation. Different approaches may be used depending on what is most helpful.

In every modality (style of therapy) there is a theory of change.

  • Therapy offers a confidential space to explore experiences, patterns and questions that may feel difficult to navigate alone.

Some sessions focus on understanding patterns in relationships or emotional responses. Others may focus on processing specific experiences, developing new ways of responding to challenges, or exploring questions of meaning and direction.

The pace and focus of therapy are shaped collaboratively.
